Technique
I made this film by first drawing the characters on a textured colored paper,
coloring them with Prismacolor pencils. Then I cut each figure out and pasted it
on a clear cel. The final set up included the background, 2-3 character cels and
in most scenes a layer on rain and splashes. I shot the film on 16mm film with
an Oxberry animation camera over the course of 48 hours (with very little sleep
and large quantities of tea). The music for the film was then composed by fellow
Dartmouth student, Amelia Thrall.
